Visible vs Visible+ vs Visible+ Pro: Plans & Prices

The base Visible plan is the place to start if coverage works for you and keeping the bill low matters most. Visible+ adds premium data and a higher hotspot speed limit. Visible+ Pro deserves a closer look if you would use its included smartwatch service or extra travel days.

This is a U.S. plan comparison based on official prices and policies checked November 5, 2026, not a hands-on network test. Start with where your phone works, then decide which extras deserve a place in your monthly budget.

Visible plan prices: monthly, annual and promotional

These USD service prices include taxes and fees, not a new phone. The annual amount is paid upfront, not in monthly installments. See Visible’s current plans and offer terms.

PlanRegular monthlyAnnual totalHOLIDAYHACK monthly offer
Visible$25$275$19 for up to 12 months
Visible+$35$375$29 for up to 36 months
Visible+ Pro$45$450$39 for up to 60 months

HOLIDAYHACK is for new members on monthly plans, with continuous service required. Annual plans are excluded. Downgrading ends the discount; upgrading keeps the original offer’s remaining duration rather than starting a new period. Afterward, the then-current market rate applies. The offer may change or end; confirm eligibility at checkout.

At those promotional rates, 12 payments total $228, $348 or $468 respectively. Annual payment is not automatically cheaper. Activated annual plans are nonrefundable, so test coverage before committing.

What does Visible+ change in everyday use?

The official plan-features comparison lists unlimited premium data on LTE, 5G and 5G Ultra Wideband for both Plus tiers. Do not confuse current plans with older comparisons quoting a 50GB premium allowance. The base plan can be slower than other traffic during congestion, according to Visible’s network disclosures.

That makes upgrading more relevant when a usable connection becomes frustrating at busy times than when there is barely any signal. Priority cannot create coverage inside a building. Test at your usual commute, lunch spot and evening location rather than buying an upgrade to solve every kind of slowdown.

For laptop tethering, hotspot data is unlimited, but the speed ceilings are 5Mbps on Visible, 10Mbps on Visible+ and 15Mbps on Pro. These are limits, not measured or promised speeds. Multiple connected devices share the connection, and Visible warns performance can fall with simultaneous use. Start with one laptop and check the tasks you actually need, including a work call, rather than a download test alone.

For occasional email during a broadband outage, try the base tier first. Relying on tethering every weekday is a stronger reason to compare the higher ceilings, using your own workload.

Unlimited data still has conditions

The network policy identifies unusually heavy mobile use using the top 0.5% of users over the preceding six months, with a threshold currently at 450GB. Above it, Visible may reduce device speeds to 1.5Mbps for the rest of the billing month. The threshold can change. Premium data is not a promise of unrestricted speed at any usage level.

Video limits also differ from general download speed. The base plan is up to 480p; Visible+ is up to 1080p on Ultra Wideband and 720p on other 5G/LTE; Pro is up to 4K on Ultra Wideband and 1080p on other 5G/LTE. Higher available quality may need enabling in the account. Paying for Pro does not make every video stream 4K everywhere.

When the Pro smartwatch benefit pays off

Visible’s current smartwatch service details show a $10 monthly add-on on the base and Plus plans, included on Pro. At regular monthly prices, Plus with the watch add-on and Pro without a separate watch charge therefore both total $45.

Check the exact watch and paired phone first. Supported models listed include Apple Watch Series 4 and newer, Pixel Watch 2 and newer, and Galaxy Watch 8, 8 Classic and Ultra, paired with a compatible device. A Bluetooth-only watch is not a reason to pay for cellular watch service you will not activate.

Travel days: compare your trip, not the headline

The Global Pass comparison lists one included day per month on Visible+ and two on Pro. Annual plans award 12 or 24 days upfront respectively. The base plan pays $10 per day in the main Global Pass country group, or $5 in Mexico, Canada, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Those four destinations are included on Plus tiers; Mexico and Canada high-speed roaming falls to 3G after 2GB per day.

A Global Pass day in the wider country group includes 2GB of high-speed data. It needs enabling, an eligible roaming device and a supported destination. Check those before departure. An upgrade made mid-cycle does not provide its complimentary pass immediately. A newly upgraded plan is not a dependable last-minute fix for a flight tomorrow.

Write down the destinations and number of days you need covered. Two short trips and a month abroad are different purchases. Do not value unused travel days as cash savings, or assume a U.S. international calling benefit pays for roaming overseas.

Try coverage before committing to a year

Visible’s 15-day trial uses the base Visible plan, not a free test of every Pro feature. It requires a compatible eSIM phone and U.S. eligibility. Current members, anyone who was a member in the past 12 months, or anyone who used the trial in that period are excluded. No credit card is required, there is no automatic renewal, and the trial provides a temporary number while you keep your existing service.

  1. Test calls and mobile data at home and the places where you regularly lose service.
  2. Repeat an important task during a busy period. One good result on an empty weekend morning is not enough.
  3. Try a laptop over hotspot if that is why you are switching. Note whether the task works, not just a speed-test number.
  4. Choose monthly first if the result is uncertain. Compare the complete checkout bill, payment timing and refund terms before prepaying.

For several people, read our Visible Inner Circle and family billing guide rather than multiplying an introductory offer and assuming every account qualifies. Still shopping across carriers? Our unlimited phone plans for one person comparison puts the broader choice in context.

The useful upgrade is the one that fixes a recurring problem or replaces something you would otherwise pay for. If neither applies, keeping a cheaper plan is a reasonable result.
